Update 22-09-2013
At the recent Pretoria spring show hosted by GRBA this buck won first prize for the best dwarf buck, the best of breed and reserve best fancy.
The colouring on the buck is clear and distinct. With a little training it should display much better as requested by the Judge. The comment made by Caroline was that if he had sat correctly he could have won the class. In her judging Caroline said that we should spend a lot more time training our entries.
This is something my father also taught me, his way of training was to first get the rabbit to be comfortable sitting on a table and pushing the ears together. Then by holding your hand behind the rabbit and using the other hand push the rabbits head and body slowly into a ball.
One other thing I do is to put a mirror next to the rabbit so that he thinks there are more rabbits on the table.
